This picture is of the God Eros. He was son of Aphrodite and god of Love. This Artefact is believed to represent how Eros came down to Earth bringing peace. Because it was said that children were peaceful so that is why Eros looks to be a child. This stone sculpture was in the sanctuary of Aphrodite to honer her.
